About the Artist

Hello, I’m Wayne, “Jr.” if you are close family, or “Gonzo” if you are in the military.  I was an art major who became a Cobra attack helicopter pilot in the Marine Corps, hence the call-sign: Gonzo.  I know, I know, it’s not a common career path.

After retiring from the Corps in 14' and 5 years teaching online, I became an airline pilot.  Hey, there was a pilot shortage!

In 2020 the Coronavirus has hit everyone hard, including the airline industry, with very little flying during lockdown I decided to use my time productively and, after a 26 year break from painting watercolors, I  started painting again.

Some friends and family asked if they could buy my artwork and suggested I sell prints.  So, here we are.
